day go by

Soon soon soon Margo and I will be compiling our individual lists of what we considered the best albums of 2008!

I would love to include Native Korean Rock in my list but unfortunately, not only was there album not released in 2008, but they do not have an album at all....oh well. Go listen to them. Karen O can do no wrong.

Oh also, The Hood Internet has a mashup of Singles Ladies and Ragged Wood. It's good...real good.
Listen to it!

High Friends in Places

Yesterday I received a wonderful email from Annie Hardy of Giant Drag after donating some money to go towards her upcoming album. Giant Drag is one of my favorite bands and I am so excited to hear new music from Annie, but since they got dropped from their record label and Micah quit the band funding the new album might be difficult. She needs all the help she can get, so go here or here and listen to their music and maybe even make a donation.

GAH!

I have had a mashup of R. Kelly "I'm a Flirt" and Broken Social Scene's "7/4 (Shoreline)" stuck in my head for two days. I downloaded it here. I suggest you check it and the rest of the mashups out.
